About Me

My photo
MzKIR
Highland Park, New Jersey, United States
I am mother of one adult daughter and a teenaged son. I love poetry! I have been writing poetry for many years. It is a wonderful outlet for me to express myself creatively. K.I.R. means "Keepin It Real". My poetry reflects a lot of my life, the life of others that I interact with and real life situations. I write from my heart and hope people can relate to anything that I write. I love the stage and love reading my words at any open mic. I have been blessed with a talent and I love to share it with others. Sometimes my words will touch someone and help them with whatever situation they may be going through or have went through. LyrAcist describes my style of writing. I see myself as a lyricist of poetry because I am female I use the term "lyrAcist". The capital A is for my uniqueness to stand out. I am a down to earth person. I am quiet and at times shy. When I am ready my words or reciting them a confident writers comes out! My goal is to publish a collection of my poems.
