On Thursday evening November 19th, The Writers Block hosted the last open mic for the 2009 season.  It was a grrrrreat success! It was held at the Namaste' Cafe' & Juice Bar.  The turn out was wonderful! Full house with a line to get in.  I would like to thank Zakiyia Forbes of the Lounge Society, Ame' Lamar fellow WBPC member, Drew Patch owner of Namaste' Cafe' for helping me with promoting this event.  I thank God for allowing this event to be the success that it was.  There was performances by new faces such as local poet Trudy, a teenager name Brea, David Robinson the grandson of Ame' Lamar.
